Bomberger’s Declaration Bourbon 2021 Release

The 2021 release of Bomberger’s is a robust Kentucky Straight Bourbon at 108 proof with a broad spectrum of distinctively rich characters. For the aging of this release, our maturation team chose special barrels, some of which were made from Chinquapin (Quercus muehlenbergii) oak that has been naturally air dried for over 3 years. While similar barrels were used in the 2019 and 2020 releases of Bomberger’s, this year our production team opted to accentuate rich characters and depth by adjusting the char levels of the Chinquapin oak barrels thereby resulting in a wonderfully distinctive Kentucky straight bourbon.
